We have several ways of interconnecting different devices, with wireless, wired or
a combination of both.
Connecting devices using WIFI. Use
Access, means that among the different devices we will not need any cable other than the one, since all have the capacity to send information wirelessly (computers, printers, hard disks, ...).
need at least one central element that you contact the various devices. Normally we use at home WIFI ADSL router, if you have one of them, and if not we would need also a wireless switch as the image that can connect different devices. Use
cables to connect computers
This option implies that we must unite the various devices by wire, but obviously not in any way but each device with a central unit to distribute the information.
Like the previous case in many cases we can use the ADSL router if you have multiple sockets or ports which connect the various cables.
Here begins the first problem, what I have to use cable?. Need to build a network with RJ45 Ethernet cable (are like phones but fatter, and with 8 threads)
If all devices have no mouth or port of these characteristics, can not connect directly to the network and servers will need adapters or connection (as discussed later)
A combination of the two previous Some
devices can be connected by wifi, such as a laptop, cable and other means, such as a desktop computer. This solution
we need a wireless router network with several outlets for Ethernet connectors.
What problems can be
is clear that we can have many different problems, primarily are related to the connection and related settings. I will focus on the connection and leave it to the next article related to the configuration.

ADSL Router with multiple outlets is not wireless network but . If we use multiple computers wired together no problem, but if we want WIFI have to do as the previous case. - I do not know if the computer has network card. The simplest is to look in the Device Manager to see that we have network cards on your computer. In the case we are talking about printers or hard disks have to see if you have any mouth to plug a network cable or wireless antennas.
